“Big Data” & Discrimination

Next month, I am deeply honored to be on a panel with Victoria Lipnic (Acting Chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), Katherine A Greenberg (Acting Deputy Commissioner of the Law Enforcement Bureau of the NYC Commission on Human Rights), and Gillian Thomas (Senior Staff Attorney of the ACLU Women’s Rights Project and author of “Because of Sex”).  We’re going to talk about data analytics, discrimination, and how analytic tools are being used today.  For my part, I’ll be talking about my pledge and how employers can embrace analytics and minimize the discriminatory risk.
